Donations in support of the committee’s efforts are tax-deductible. The Town of Ticonderoga provides funding which is greatly appreciated, but most of the funds needed are raised by the committee. The biggest expenses for the celebration are the fireworks as well as the bands and entertainment. The Best 4 th In the North celebration costs approximately $50,000 each year.
Without the support of the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership, Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Ticonderoga, our area businesses, organizations, community members and the vendors at the event this celebration would not be possible. The 2024 Best 4 th In the North Celebration will take place July 1-4, 2024 with fireworks, parade, live music, food, vendors, kids’ zone, games and more. The Best 4 th In the North Celebration attracts many visitors to the Ticonderoga area every year, which supports local businesses and the local economy. Ladies groups from across the country have been creating their own proms and raising money for charities that are close to their hearts. This is a wonderful, hilarious night in which women can dance the night away, have fun with friends and help a worthy cause.
It is a real prom with a DJ, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and a drawing to crown the new Queen. It is a lady’s night out for charity in which women wear their old prom gowns, bridesmaid dresses, wedding gowns, or dresses. The random drawing for the 2024 Ticonderoga Area Mom Prom Queen and court will also take place. This charity event will include an array of appetizers, desserts, music, dancing, photographs, cash bar, and more. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available at the door. Tickets are available for $40.00 per person at Glens Falls National Bank. The Ticonderoga Area Mom Prom is a ladies night out event to benefit local non-profits. You do not have to be a Mom to attend, but you must be 21. The theme of the event is “Masquerade Ball.” Proceeds from this event will benefit to the Best 4 th In The North to help support the celebration.
